This fascinating physics demonstration serves as a powerful visual metaphor for how tiny, seemingly insignificant actions can create massive ripple effects.

The clip shows a chain of 13 dominoes, arranged in increasing size. The narrator notes that the very first, smallest domino is a mere 5 millimeters high and 1 millimeter thick. At the other end of the chain, the 13th and largest domino stands over a meter tall and weighs a massive 100 pounds.

By pushing over the tiny, 5-millimeter piece, a geometric progression of energy is unleashed. Each falling domino carries enough energy to topple a domino roughly 1.5 times its size. Within just 13 steps, the minuscule energy required to flick the first domino is amplified enough to knock over a 100-pound slab. It perfectly illustrates the opening quote: "If you ever doubt the power of small decisions, watch this".
