To increase speed in a manual car, you'll need to shift gears smoothly. Here's a quick rundown:

1. *Start in 1st gear*: Press the clutch, start the car, and shift into 1st gear. Release the clutch slowly while giving it some gas.
2. *Shift to 2nd*: As you pick up speed (around 10-15 km/h), press the clutch, shift to 2nd gear, and release the clutch while giving it gas.
3. *Shift to 3rd, 4th, 5th*: Keep shifting gears as you gain speed (usually around 20-30 km/h for 3rd, 30-40 km/h for 4th, and so on).
4. *Match RPM*: Shift when the RPM (revolutions per minute) is around 2,000-3,000.

General rule:
