## Description
Claude has no video input. Anthropic's own docs list only image formats, and animations are unsupported, so all it ever sees is the transcript. That means it misses the cuts, the on-screen text, the b-roll and the pacing, which is most of why a video actually worked.

Two free tools fix it. yt-dlp downloads the video, FFmpeg slices it into one still frame per second, and Claude reads the folder like a flipbook. It counts the cuts, decodes the first three seconds, extracts every on-screen line with timestamps, and writes a shot list you can hand to an editor. Both run locally, so there are no API costs and nothing gets uploaded.
