Is WanGP a simpler alternative to ComfyUI? In this tutorial, I install WanGP—also known through the Wan2GP repository—and explore its unified interface for generating AI images, videos, animations, music, and audio locally.

WanGP brings many popular generative AI models and workflows into one application, allowing you to focus on creating instead of manually connecting complicated ComfyUI nodes. I’ll show you how to clone the repository, use the installation scripts, launch the local web interface, switch to dark mode, configure performance settings, install plugins, manage models and LoRAs, enhance prompts, and generate your first content.
