The video shows a hand-crank pulley system for retractable sun shade nets, widely applied in courtyards, factory sheds and agricultural greenhouses.
 
This system runs on a single closed-loop polyethylene rope, paired with two top fixed pulleys and a bottom hand crank wheel. Turning the hand wheel winds or releases the rope, pulling the shade net to slide horizontally along the upper steel wire track, so users can freely adjust the shaded area on demand.
 
For standard rope threading: fix one end of the rope to the left side of the shade net’s movable front bar, run it upward through the left top pulley, downward to wrap around the hand crank wheel, then cross it upward through the right top pulley, and finally fasten the end to the right side of the front bar. This cross layout balances pulling force on both sides and prevents jamming during expansion and retraction.
 
Key installation notes: keep the upper steel wire track tight and level to avoid sagging; mount the crank bracket at 1.2–1.4 m height for easy operation; the crank wheel has a built-in self-locking structure that holds the net steadily at any position.
 
For maintenance: f
