## Description
Blackmagic Design shipped a first party MCP server inside DaVinci Resolve Studio 21.1 on 8 September 2026. Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT Codex are supported out of the box, and Resolve writes the connection config itself.

Multicam sync by audio, cutting long interviews down to a highlight timeline, bulk imports sorted by timecode, and queued renders, all by conversation. I also cover the one preference toggle that makes it fail silently, and what it genuinely cannot do yet.
