Jev is the first System One model from TypeSafe — an AI that never writes a sentence. Instead of text you parse and pray over, it returns typed decisions, probabilities and a confidence score your code can branch on directly. It is 193x faster and 244x cheaper than a frontier LLM on the same work.

In this video I go through what Jev actually is, the three primitives it exposes (Choice, Score and Noul), the live playground on real support tickets, the cost and latency numbers, and the honest limits of the thing. Then I install the TypeSafe skill into Claude Code and have it build a voice-controlled Chrome agent — and I drive my browser with nothing but my voice.

🔧 Stack used:
- Jev / TypeSafe System One
- Claude Code + the TypeSafe agent skill
- Faster-Whisper (speech to text)
- Playwright (Chrome automation)
- Python
